Cricket, on March 2008, announce the UTStarcom CDM7126 for sale. The CDM7126 is the first tri-band CDMA phone working on CDMA 850/1900 and 1700 AWS bands. The UTStarcom CDM7126 handset has a sleek metallic clamshell form factor. It is a basic clamshell with Bluetooth, 1xRTT data and indicator lights on the outside that replaces an external display which alerts the user of incoming calls and messages without the need for them to open the phone.

The phone’s full-color internal display provides optimal viewing of incoming calls, messaging alerts, games and other data applications. The UTStarcom CDM7126 feature Bluetooth connectivity, voice recognition, predictive text input for easy text messaging. Moreover, it supports Cricket Mobile Web for browsing and downloading ringtones and graphics which enable its user to access web content and personalize this phone.
