Sony Ericsson previews the new Sony Ericsson W980 during CEBIT 2008. SE 980 is a multimedia phone runs on UMTS/HSDPA 2100 GSM/GPRS/850/900/1800/1900 nsetworks. The SE 980 is completed with unique audio enhancing technology and Sony’s walkman on top design. This Sony Ericsson’s mobile phone lets its user to listen to music with its clear stereo, bas and distortion free from SE 980 music player or built-in FM. This SE 980 also is equiped with built-in FM transmitter where users can share to any devices with built-in FM radio receiver.
The SE W980’s walkman features can be easily accessed even when the phone is on standby mode. And to suit the varying preferences of users, the W980 also comes with preset equalizers for music enhancement and skin features. As a Walkman player, the SE W980 has shake control, SensMe, PlayNow, TrackID, Bluetooth stereo, music tones, 3D games, Java applications, FM Radio with RDS, video streaming, and video viewing. The W980 also boasts of a 3.2 megapixel camera with 3.2x digital zoom, picture and video blogging, video recording with 4x digital zoom, full Internet browsing with Access NetFront, support for web and photo feeds. The W980 has integrated 8 GB of internal memory to sva music and photo files. For the joy of listening music, this SE 980 has 9 hours talktime and around 300 hours of standbytime for GSM network and 16 hours of music listening time.
